Owners, employees and patrons at The Corner Pub recently took in a little dog that was running loose on the busy streets outside of the establishment.  The dog, Tuffy, was quickly returned to his owner when the signs she posted indicated who Tuffy was and where he belonged.  Refusal of The Corner Pub owners Daryl and Bobbie Sword to accept the reward resulted in a donation of $100.00 to the Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC). 

Mya Rattay loves animals and she recently put that love to work for the animals at the Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC).  Hoping to raise funds for the homeless animals the seven year old little girl wrote a sign, attached it to a donation box she made and gave it to her father to take to work.  She collected over $50.00 and used that money to purchase treats and supplies for the animals at the shelter.
