For the past five years the Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC) and the City of Hagerstown Parks & Recreation Department have held an annual Pooch Plunge at Potterfield Pool.  This wonderful event permits dogs and their human companions to swim at the city's Potterfield Pool.   The proceeds from this event benefits the HSWC’s Charlie’s Fund which was established in 2005 in memory of Charlie a poodle owned click here for our photo gallery
