The HSWC not only does adoptions onsite, but deploys a mobile adoption unit into the community. The Traveling Fosters started in 2013 to give our Foster families an additional outlet to adopt out their foster animals. During our busier months, the Traveling Fosters go to local businesses and locations.

Thanks to funding from the ASPCA, the Traveling Fosters became the Adoption Ambassadors in 2015. They are now equipped with everything needed to complete an adoption without the animal ever returning to the shelter! They are ready to set-up anywhere that will allow animals in the hopes of finding forever homes for their foster animals.
