Like so many nonprofit organizations, HSWC has made an effort to keep our fundraising events on track despite the presence of COVID-19. However, the health and safety of our supporters, volunteers, and staff continue to be our top priority. As a result, we have decided to transition this year’s LuHowl at the Moon to a virtual event. We did not make this decision lightly, as we know that the animals in our care continue to need our help despite this pandemic. We would like to thank Sheehy Subaru Hagerstown, Younger Toyota, Keller Stonebraker Insurance and Patriot Federal Credit Union for sponsoring LuHowl despite these uncertain times. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the Bowman Family for their continued support of LuHowl. This event would not be possible without their generosity through the years and we’re already looking forward to our 2021 event!
Knowing that we rely on the proceeds from LuHowl to fund our work, we’ve come up with a fun virtual alternative to our in-person event. Starting today and continuing throughout the fall, we’ll be hosting weekly raffles here on our Facebook page!
