As an open admissions shelter, HSWC regularly receives cats that are unsocial and not the best candidates for a traditional adoption situation. While they would not likely do well living inside a home, these cats still deserve a fulfilling life and a “home” of their own!
If you have a garage, warehouse, brewery, greenhouse, barn, or a safe outdoor space with shelter that one or more community cats could call home, please complete a Working Cat Interest Form. We’d like to have a list of approved adopters on hand so that once unsocial cats are spayed/neutered and vaccinated, we can fast-track them out of the stressful shelter environment and into their new home!
